The second round of the junior squash championships are on tonight with a 6pm start as usual.
A lot of the top players were missing last week as they were attending the Green Shield tournament in Sydney.
Consequently, most of them will have two matches tonight.
Shane Skinner and Matt Rogan were the only people in Pool 1 to turn up last week, so they played each other.
Matt played well to keep Shane to 21 points, scoring the maximum 45 points himself.
Alec Bateson has sounded a warning in Pool 3, winning 45 points in his two matches.
Pool 2 has Chad Porter as an early leader, defeating brother Jake 45-30.
In Pool 4, Cameron Spicer won both his matches against Jake Hennock and Kobi Fitzsummons, scoring 45 points in each.
In Pool 5, Ashleigh Tolhurst looks like being the one to beat.
She scored 45 points to Nikita Noakes’ 25.
Alex Macaulay is the leader in Pool 6, streaking away to a big lead with two 45 point wins.
